General Admission Requirement

Documents Required for Undergraduate Application  
  1. Filled online application form
  2. Copy of high Secondary School Certificate
  3. Data page of International passport

Note: English translations of these documents are necessary if they are in any language other than English.

Accepted Higher School Certificates for undergraduate programs High School Diploma, Higher Secondary School Certificate, General Certificates of Secondary Education (GCSE), Higher Secondary Certificate, Upper Secondary /Secondary School/ High School/ Senior High School Leaving Certificate, Testimonial, Secondary Education Certificate, Senior School Certificate, Matriculation Examination Certificate, SAT , WAEC , WASSCE , NECO , JAMB, BACCALAUREATE. Not: Standard XII (Grade 12) should have been completed in the relevant countries.
The requirements for transfer applications are as follows. Transfer student applications, students who are hold National Diploma can apply as a transfer student to Bachelor Degree programs.  
  • Transfer applications should be to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th semesters. Associate Degree or National Diploma holders generally start from the 5th semester.
  • Student should not have been dismissed from a University,
  • All required modules should have been completed from previous classes.
  • CGPA should be minimum 2.00 out of 4.00 or the equivalent.
Requested Documents  
  1. Photocopies of Higher Secondary School Certificate / Diploma and Associate Degree or a National Diploma
  2. Academic record / mark sheets (transcript)
  3. Short course descriptions
  4. International Passport copy 
  5. One photograph

Documents needed for application to Master Programs

 
  1. An official transcript of all university-level courses taken. A comparative mark/grade table if CGPA on the transcript is not out of 4.00.
  2. Attested photocopies of diplomas received from a university or equivalent institutions (i.e. 4 years study bachelor degree). English translations of these documents are necessary if they are in any language other than English.
  3. Three letters of reference.
  4. Statement of Purpose / Intention (Please submit on a separate sheet: Your purpose in applying to the program chosen, explaining your motivation as well as the areas of specialization which would be of interest to you within the discipline).
  5. A photocopy of your international passport.
  6. one passport-sized photographs.

General Admission Requirements

Applicants for master‘s programs with thesis must possess a bachelor’s degree with CPGA > 2.50/4.00. For some programs such as professional degree programs, CGPA‘s of 2.00-2.49 may be acceptable. Applicants for doctoral programs must possess a master‘s degree.
